 About the Game

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a third person action-adventure video game in development by Ubisoft for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is set to be released on 16 November 2010. The game is a direct-sequel to Assassin's Creed II and its story will take place shortly after the ending of the previous game, with Ezio returning as the main protagonist. It's the first game in the series to feature multiplayer mode. In May 2010, Ubisoft released the teaser trailer for the game. A cinematic trailer was revealed at E3 2010 along with gameplay. He will also have friends and ally assassins that can be played to make the game more challenging.

 Plot
The game begins shortly after the events of Assassin's Creed II, in the year 1499. Monteriggioni is besieged by the Borgia clan, led by Rodrigo's son Cesare Borgia. During the battle Ezio's uncle, Mario, is killed and the Apple of Eden is taken by Borgia. Ezio, now a Master Assassin in the Assassin's Order, seeks revenge and heads to Roma (Rome) (1503) to take the fight to the Templar Order.

 Gameplay
According to Ubisoft, the game is going to offer over 15 hours of single-player gameplay set in the city of Rome. Ezio will be able to recruit and train young Assassins that can be deployed across the city of Rome, or can be called upon to aid him in his quests. Players now will be able to upgrade the whole city of Rome. It is compared to the upgrading system in Assassin's Creed II. Also in the quests, Ezio will meet old and new friends, real historical characters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolò Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza with whom he can collaborate, and also by helping out citizens of Rome and convincing them to join the cause will unlock extra factions and missions.Old weapons and devices from previous games will carry over, such as hidden blades, and an advanced Da Vinci's flying machine. There are some new weapons and gadgets in player's disposal that is introduced such as syringe, poison darts, crossbow, claw, blade fan, dagger, parachute and switchblade that was shown in the game teaser. It has been confirmed by the creative director that Ezio's new nemesis will be Cesare Borgia, the son of Rodrigo Borgia (now Pope Alexander VI).

New weapons will be introduced. Two of these new weapons were revealed in teaser content for the game, a bladed fan and switch blade (the Templar version of the hidden blade). A syringe is also presented in the teaser trailer, which extrapolates on a hollowed out version of the hidden blade used for delivering poison in Assassin's Creed II.

 Multipayer

The gameplay of Multiplayer is highly similair to that of the Iphone/iPod Touch game Assassins Creed:Multiplayer.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the first Assassin's Creed game to feature a multiplayer mode. The players are Templars in training at the Abstergo facility. They use the animi (plural for animus) to access memories of highly skilled Assassins and then train by stalking and killing one another. If the game is pre-ordered at gamestop.com, an extra character called "the Harlequin" will be available to play as. One of the multiplayer game modes has been announced in the July edition of Playstation magazine. This mode is called "Wanted". Six to eight players are dropped on a map, not too small, not too big, where they stalk and kill each other. Each player is given a target, who is another player. Your goal is to find and kill your target without being seen or killed by your own predator. If you break cover, your target sees you and will run away, starting a chase sequence. They will try to hide from you, you have to catch them and kill them. Aside from the characters and the "Wanted" game mode, a few more specifics have been revealed: seven characters have been confirmed (Courtesan, Hunter, Barber, Priest, Banker, Executioner, and Doctor) and two special characters, the "Harlequin" available with a pre-order at gamestop, and the "Officer", available with the "Special Edition" of the game, as seen on game.co.uk. It is confirmed that the multiplayer experience can be accessed through Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and also on the PC. The multiplayer beta will be exclusively for PlayStation 3.
